1940s Marian Hotchkiss silk-satin house dress. This dark pink house dress attaches with a front zipper that goes from the neckline to roughly the knees, depending on the height of the wearer. It has two front pockets on either hip and a ribbons on the neckline that could be tied into a bow or left hanging. The sleeves are scalloped on the ends, along with the overlay on the top of the front and back of the dress. This dress originally would have had a belt, however it no longer does. There are slight condition issues with this piece, visible in the last three photos. There is some visible blue stitching on the back, there are two marks on the front of the sleeve, and there is a pinprick hole on the top of the overlay.
