1940s Jeanne Lanvin Paris jacket and dress set featuring intricate floral gold embroidery with white beading on the jacket with covered buttons, a fitted waist, and a flowing skirt. Set includes a sheer sleeveless underdress with a v-neckline and 3 side snap closures. The jacket attaches at the front with three buttons and two hook and eyes below. The jacket has been altered to have minimal buttons for a simplistic design. The shoulders of the mesh top on the dress have been reinforced with lace at the top. The material of the dress and jacket is a silk crepe. There are some small condition issues with this piece, pictured in the last two photos. There was damage on the side front left bottom of the skirt, that has been repaired. There is also a small hole in the neckline of the mesh, that will be covered when worn.
